New Asset Tracking Tag: Design Perfected with 10+ Years of Industrial Expertise 

The past 10 years in the RTLS market, particularly through hundreds of industrial projects, have provided us with invaluable in-field experiences that have influenced both our software and hardware roadmap. Given that asset tracking use cases deliver the highest return on investment for our customers, it’s no surprise that the Leonardo Asset Tag has been the best-selling item in our tag portfolio.

Based on our extensive industrial RTLS experience, we’ve revamped the asset tag to be smaller, thinner, lighter, and packed with new features. Despite the upgrades, the price of the new Leonardo Asset Tag remains the same.

The RTLS system can guide a person to the precise location of a specific coil. When multiple coils are close together, the blinking LED on the target coil’s tag ensures quick and easy identification among other coils.

The button turns the tag ON/OFF, resets it, enters configuration mode, and sends custom user events via API to the RTLS studio. Users can assign custom actions, and the button provides tactile feedback for better usability. 

The wider mounting plate allows for more flexibility and the use of different attachment mechanisms (screws, straps, etc.). 

Unlike other RTLS vendors, Sewio tags are designed for easy extensions and customizations, with full source code and blueprints available.
