myRTLS Care On-premises Version Generally Available

The success of any industrial operation stands or falls with the reliability of the system running the operation. Over the last decade, a real-time location system has become a key component in mission-critical use cases – from safety, through the search for crucial components to production flow. If the RTLS function has been disrupted, for example, by hitting the anchor or simply when someone forgot to charge a battery tag, the benefits of RTLS suddenly turn into drawbacks.

Software that could monitor the system, and provide alerts and predictions followed by pro-active support services and a hardware warranty would ensure smooth long-time operations while minimizing downtime. That’s why we introduced the myRTLS Care package back in May 2022. myRTLS Care includes software, services and a hardware warranty to avoid any interruptions and keep operations running smoothly.

While myRTLS Care was initially provided as a Cloud version only, we have now made an on-premises version available too. The on-premises version is now available in its beta version.

A smaller, yet significant, portion of our customers are in highly regulated industries in which the decision has already been made for them as to whether to house their applications on-premises or not. Additionally, often the whole RTLS system is managed by an in-house IT department, so having the myRTLS part of the technology stack under their control provides additional peace of mind. With the on-premises version of myRTLS, we are providing over 15 of the previously Cloud-only features to a wider number of businesses, so that they can constantly monitor the health of their system. Feature-wise, the on-premises version includes the same tools and modules compared to the Cloud version.
